Beyoncé hops on “Savage” for a re-energized Remix with her follow Houstonian.
Megan Thee Stallion returns with a remix to the J. White Did It-produced Savage. She’s back with fellow Houston native Beyoncé to boost this successful single. The song is co-written by Dallas native and Def Jam recording artist Bobby Sessions. All proceeds go to Bread of Life, a charitable organization based in their hometown of Houston, Texas.
It’s powerful. It’s fun. And it’s probably going to give “Savage” another wind as it pushes into the summer. The original song has already spawned millions of challenge videos on popular platforms such as Tik Tok. The new #SavageChallenge2 has already begun. This one can also be attributed to Keara Wilson, the creator of the original #SavageChallenge.
Jay-Z, Pardison Fontaine, Derrick Milano, Starrah, and The-Dream are also among the new names listed as writers on the remix.
This “Savage” remix is Beyoncé’s first appearance on a new song since her Lion King companion album The Gift.
